For vehicles with a model year of 1999 or older you will need a bill of sale from the seller to the buyer, signed by the seller, AND one of the following documents: A.A prior owner's previously issued NH registration (out-of-state registration is not acceptable).
The state of New Hampshire does not title Off Highway Recreational Vehicles or snowmobiles nor does it maintain any records of title or liens on these types of vehicles. A title, bill of sale or previous registration is not required to register an Off Highway Recreational Vehicle or snowmobile.
To register a snowmobile the owner must: Provide previous NH snowmobile registration OR the following vehicle information: year of manufacture, make, model, displacement, primary and secondary colors, and VIN.
