Personal Care Services Program (PCS) Provides services such as housekeeping, meal preparation, bathing, toileting, and grooming.
The PCS program is designed to provide personal care services to qualifying individuals that need assistance in their effort to perform their activities of daily living that include bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting and eating.
Qualifications: Credentialed in NC with an unencumbered NC CNA Certificate and or The ideal caregiver should have at least 2 years of experience in the Health Care, Home Care, Nursing Home, Assistant Living, or Senior Living Industry.

To become a Home Care aide: You must be listed on the North Carolina Home Care Aide Specialty Training Registry as a Nurse Aide I. You must successfully complete a North Carolina state-approved Home Care Aide specialty training program.

To qualify for PCS, an individual must have a medical condition, disability or cognitive impairment, and demonstrates unmet needs for: Three of the five ADLs with limited hands-on assistance. Two ADLs, one of which requires extensive assistance. Two ADLs, one of which requires assistance at the full dependence level.
