Qualifying students are those who either (1) have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities; or (2) have a record of such an impairment; or (3) are regarded as having such an impairment.
Who is eligible for Temporary Disability Insurance benefits? Any New Jersey worker who contributes to the state plan for Temporary Disability Insurance, or to an employer's approved private plan, and meets the minimum gross earnings requirements, may be eligible.
A student that may qualify for a 504 Plan may be a child with food allergies or another medical condition based on which they may not be able to participate in certain school related activities or based on which they can receive accommodations and modifications during their school day.
