Regardless of age, excessive and inappropriate use of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited, whether or not consumption occurred on or off campus. Students hosting guests (including fellow SCU students and non-SCU guests) are responsible for their guests' adherence to the policy.

Housing for transfer students is not guaranteed, however we have been able to offer housing to all Transfer students who have applied in the past few years. Applying outside of the published deadlines or for winter or spring? No problem, we accept applications on a rolling basis.
Santa Clara encourages all students to practice and deepen their faith, but religious participation is not mandated. However, events like the 10 a.m. Sunday Mass often are full houses in the historic Mission Church, and many regular attendees are not Catholic.
