About the Pierce College Residence Hall The Center for Global Scholars (CGS) is traditional campus housing for both domestic and international Pierce College students. CGS values both student independence and a student's need for community.
Students who apply for a single bed lease: log into the myHousing Portal to learn about requesting roommmates. Students who apply for a unit lease are responsible for identifying their own eligible roommates and completing the additional occupant addendum; there is not a roommate matching process at Orchard Park.
ALCOHOL AND DRUGS Franklin Pierce prohibits alcoholic beverages in all public areas of the campus, including lounges and corridors of residence halls and outdoor areas unless special permission is received, from the Dean of Student Affairs, or their designee, for a particular function.
Because of these institutional commitments, a student is required to reside on-campus and is encouraged to become an active participant in campus life. Residential Life will review off-campus petitions and make the final decision regarding off-campus status.
The acceptance rate at Franklin Pierce University is 78.3%. In other words, of 100 students who apply, 78 are admitted. This means the school is not selective. As long as you don't fall way below average, you'll likely get in.
Subject to the availability of space, all first-year students are required to live in a residence hall for two academic semesters (a summer term does not count as an academic semester), unless they are married or live with parents and have permission to commute.
