All residents must be enrolled in classes at Collin College with at least 12 credit hours each semester before applying. Summer residents will need to be enrolled in 6 credit hours. All residents must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA each semester to reside at Student Housing.
Collin College Student Housing offers two bedroom, two bathroom options as well as efficiency (studio style, one bathroom options) units.
Plano Campus. The Plano Campus offers programs and activities as unique as its student population. Home to thriving visual and performing arts and athletics programs, as well as the only official Collin College campus housing in the district, the Plano Campus is an exceptional place to start your academic career.

Work study jobs are partially funded by the federal or state government. The FWS program gives students the opportunity to work on campus or in a community service position on a part-time basis. Students may work up to 20 hours per week and receive the funds for actual hours worked from Collin College.

Cumulative GPAs are generated from the Admissions department. If you do not have a GPA with Collin College, the system will generate a GPA from your previous high school, college or university. All applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5.
