Students will be able to select their roommates on the Housing & Dining Self-Service Portal. Our residence halls have a limited number of available traditional singles on campus. We encourage all students to explore roommate options prior to the start of Housing Selection.

Residence Halls and Houses Clark offers a variety of comfortable living spaces for all students, including residence halls, restored houses, and apartments. Check out the options available to you and see which accommodations match your needs.

If you'd like to request a change to your on campus housing assignment, please complete the Room Change Request form that is located on your Housing & Dining Self-Service portal. The form is open for a month over the summer, for a majority of fall semester, and for a month in spring semester.

For first-time freshmen women, on-campus residency is defined as residing in Holmes Hall, Merner Hall, Pfeiffer Hall, and CAU Suites. For first-time freshmen men, on-campus residency is defined as residing in Beckwith Hall.

Briefly describe yourself, intertests/activities, living style, and be sure to include a phone #. I would also include a recent picture. Being able to put a face to a possible potential roommate makes a huge difference.

Start by introducing yourself, telling them a bit about yourself, and then ask if they are still looking for a roommate. It is also a good idea to mention why you think you would be a good roommate, such as any shared interests or values. You could also ask them what qualities they are looking for in a roommate.
