Texas Administrative Code. Tuition reimbursement provides financial assistance to employees who wish to improve or supplement their knowledge and skills by attending classes at accredited colleges, junior colleges, or universities while pursuing a degree plan.
Tarrant County offers a full range of employee benefit programs for eligible employees, retirees and their families. These programs include medical, dental and vision coverage; group term life insurance and long term disability insurance; and flexible spending accounts for health care and dependent care reimbursements.
An EAP— sometimes called a tuition reimbursement program—enables employers to fund their employees' higher education courses. For example, you might choose to fully or partially fund your employees' undergraduate or graduate degrees, professional development or skills-building courses, or vocational certifications.
This $500 scholarship is available to dependents of current, full-benefits-eligible TTU/TTUHSC faculty or staff employees, or retirees that met those requirements at the time of retirement. Award amounts are determined annually, based on the estimated number of recipients and the interest earnings by the fund.
