Description

The Educational Assistance Program for Employees is designed to help eligible employees in San Antonio enhance their skills and job performance through financial support for approved educational pursuits. This program offers reimbursement for tuition and registration fees for courses at recognized institutions, ensuring that eligible employees, who must be full-time and employed for at least one year, can take advantage of these opportunities. Key features include a structured reimbursement schedule based on grades received in courses, with varying percentages ranging from 50% to 100%. Employees must obtain prior approval for course enrollment, remain employed during the course, and achieve acceptable grades to qualify for reimbursement. Specific use cases include attorneys seeking to further their legal education, paralegals aiming to earn certifications, and legal assistants looking to enhance their qualifications. The form provides clear instructions for filling out reimbursement requests and emphasizes the importance of submitting verification documents to the human resources department upon course completion. It also stipulates repayment obligations if the employee leaves the company within two years of receiving assistance, ensuring commitment to employer-invested education.
