Description

The Educational Assistance Policy for Employees in Pennsylvania provides a structured program aimed at supporting eligible employees in enhancing their skills and job performance through education. This policy covers tuition and registration fees for courses from approved institutions, such as accredited colleges and technical schools, that are relevant to the employee's current or prospective positions. Full-time employees with at least one year of service can participate, with reimbursement dependent on course grades, offering 100% for an 'A', 75% for 'B' or pass, 50% for 'C', and no reimbursement for grades lower than 'C'. To qualify, employees must obtain pre-approval from their supervisor and human resources, remain employed during the course, and submit proof of payment and grades for reimbursement. Moreover, if an employee leaves the company within two years of receiving funds, they must repay those reimbursements. This policy is essential for attorneys, partners, owners, associates, paralegals, and legal assistants to foster professional development and ensure compliance with educational upgrades necessary for legal practice.
