Description

The Educational Assistance Program for employees in Georgia is designed to support eligible employees in developing their skills and enhancing job performance through tuition assistance. The program provides reimbursement for courses taken at accredited institutions that are related to an employee's current job or a degree program deemed relevant by the employer. Full-time employees with at least one year of service are eligible, and the reimbursement covers specific costs for tuition and registration fees, capped at a certain number of credits per semester. The reimbursement schedule is tied to the grades received in courses, incentivizing performance with varying reimbursement percentages. Employees seeking reimbursement must submit a tuition reimbursement form before the start of courses, secure approval from their supervisor and human resources, and provide proof of course completion and payment afterward. If an employee leaves the company within two years of receiving reimbursement, they must repay the amount received. This form is particularly useful for attorneys, partners, owners, associates, paralegals, and legal assistants looking to enhance their professional profile and skills through higher education while navigating their employment obligations.
