Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Program (GTEG) The Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Program (GTEG) encourages Georgia residents to attend eligible private colleges in Georgia by providing assistance towards educational costs. The GTEG program is non-need based funding.
The tuition reimbursement program is intended to encourage and help employees expand their educational backgrounds and become more proficient in their jobs. This program will cover tuition costs, books up to $100.00 per class, and mandatory fees.
In Fulton, even teachers with less than ten years' experience get 15 general leave days a year. General leave includes sick days and personal days off, ing to the study. Teachers in Newark, N.J., with 25 years of experience get 28 general leave days a year, more than any school system in the country.
TAP pays for a maximum of 9 credit hours per semester based upon the undergraduate or graduate rate of the University System of Georgia (USG) institution you are attending. There are 26 USG institutions from which to choose. (You must follow the regular admissions process applicable to each institution.)
Tuition Reimbursements are made to any employee who completes an approved course. The employee may qualify for reimbursement up to $5,000 per calendar year or a lifetime cap of $35,000.
Only full-time employees will be eligible for Faculty/Staff tickets. To be qualified to use F/S tickets, an eligible employee must be actively employed on the date of the first game and not on terminal leave.
