Tuition Waiver Program The State of Florida Employee Educational Assistance Program allows each state university and community college to waive tuition and fees for state employees to enroll in up to 6 credit hours of courses per term. However, participation is subject to space-availability.

The State Employee Tuition Waiver provides full-time State of Florida employees the opportunity to take up to six hours of coursework per academic term at a significant discount.

Eligible Florida families must meet the following requirements: • Be U.S. citizens or qualified noncitizens, • Be legal residents of the state, • Be a family with a minor child living with a custodial parent or caretaker relative or a pregnant woman, and • Must earn less than 185% of the federal poverty level.
