The vast majority of universities recommend meeting your academic advisor at least once a semester. There may be times when you need to speak to them more often than that, but you shouldn't leave too long between advising sessions.
If you have questions about transcripts contact us at registrar@collin.
For details, please contact Academic Advising at 972.881. 5778 or AcademicAdvising@collin.
Example: Hello (Advisor First Name), I hope you are well. I'm reaching out to ask for guidance on taking a Session B course this semester. I feel confident with my current workload and would like to get ahead. If I do take a course in Session B, which class would you recommend to help me progress in my major?
All applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5. Do I have to be a full-time student? Most of our scholarships require students to carry a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester. However, some scholarships may require 9 or 12 credit hours.
