TEXAS Grant is available to undergraduate students who are Texas residents and meet specific residency requirement, academic criteria, and demonstrate financial need. The FAFSA or TASFA (S.B. 1528 students) serve as the TEXAS Grant application and no other forms are required.
How to Apply Visit your Student Center and log in using your MEID@maricopa and your Password. Click on the High School Dual Enroll Forms tile to locate the Maricopa Grant Form. Complete the form.
It is a form of tuition assistance available to those students who demonstrate financial need. Proof of financial need does not guarantee funding. Awarding of the Maricopa Grant is based on the availability of funds. For families/households with more than 8 persons, add $5,380 for each additional person.
The grant is awarded manually by ASU after the drop/add period each semester. No separate application is required. If selected, you will receive an email notification and the award will appear on your Financing tab of My ASU. The maximum AZ LEAP award for the academic year is $2,500.
Register for Classes In your Student Center, click on the Manage Classes tile. Watch for your Duo push notification to log in. Use Class Search and Enroll to get registered.

Students may register in person or over the phone, and they must provide basic biographical data (name, date of birth, mailing address and contact phone number) to register if they do not already have a student account at CGCC.
