The College has a minimum academic requirement for all credit earning students. Students who maintain a 2.0 GPA and 67% completion rate cumulatively remain in good academic standing.
Some community colleges think that dress codes are in order, ranging from uniforms to even business-appropriate attire. Once thought of as traditional and old-fashioned, dress codes and school uniforms have become a center of focus for many schools once again.
Classroom Dress Code: Generally, there isn't a strict dress code for attending classes, but it's a good idea to avoid overly revealing or offensive clothing. Some classes or majors, like business or nursing, may have specific dress codes for certain activities, such as presentations or clinical experiences.
If you choose to complete Connect U Orientation by attending a live session, you must be present for the entire 4.5 hour event in order to get your hold lifted so you may register for classes.
The dress code requires: an official Pima Community College EMT student polo shirt, long pants in good condition (jeans are acceptable), and shoes with closed toes and closed heels. Hats may not be worn during class.
