The lines must be of the same width which must not be more than (12cm) 5 inches. The FA have produced guidance documents for natural and football turf pitches that include recommended colours and how pitch dimensions and layouts can be implemented.
The width of all lines drawn on the football field is 12 cm, i.e., 5 inches.
Pitch boundary The two goal lines are between 50 and 100 yards (46 and 91 metres) wide and have to be of the same length. The two touchlines are between 100 and 130 yards (91 and 119 metres) long and have to be of the same length. All lines on the ground are equally wide, not to exceed 12 centimetres (5 inches).

The build-out line promotes playing the ball out of the back in a less pressured setting. The build-out line shall be at midfield for the 5U-7U age groups. The build-out line shall be placed across the field equal distance between the top of the penalty area box and the halfway line for 8U-10U age groups.
