How long will it take to get a CDA certificate? Getting a CDA credential is a straightforward process. Once you submit your application, pass the exam, complete 120 hours of professional development, and pass the verification visit, you should receive your credential within 10 business days.
A license or certificate is not required for care provided in the home of the provider for less than four hours per day, or for fewer than five children in the home at one time.
