The North Carolina notary acknowledgement for a corporation is used to notarize a document which has been signed by an authorized corporate officer on behalf of a corporation. This type of notary certification is most often required for property transfers, but may also be used for business agreements and the like.
The Corporate Acknowledgment certificate is used when a duly authorized corporate officer or representative is signing and acknowledging on behalf of a corporation. Such designated officers may include the president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and attorney in fact.
