Interrogatories are one form of discovery in a lawsuit. An interrogatory is a written question from one party to the lawsuit to another party to the lawsuit.Form Interrogatories are a list of questions on a court form. After the Affidavit of Service is done, it must be filed with the Court. It helps if you fill in the top part of the form with the case and court information. You cannot send more than 30 questions to another party in a circuit court case. The Maryland Rules have form interrogatories that you can use as an example. In order to have a deposition, one side sends a Notice of Deposition form to the other side. When filing a notice of appeal in hard copy, you should always keep a "filed" stamped copy of it from the court for your files. ◼ Written interrogatories are not permitted under the simplified procedure (Rule 76.04(1), 2021 CanLIIDocs 2069).
