Effective: February 21, 2025 Michigan's minimum wage will increase to approximately $12.48 per hour. Michigan's rate for tipped employees will increase to 48% of the minimum wage – approximately $5.99 per hour.

On August 1, 2024, the California Department of Finance officially announced that, starting January 1, 2025, the statewide minimum wage rose from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. This increase applies to all employers, regardless of size, and has significant implications for both workers and businesses.

Measure FF: Effective January 1, 2025, the Oakland Minimum Wage Rate goes up to $16.89 per hour. (Posters are available below.) 2. Measure Z: Effective January 1, 2025, the Oakland Hotel Minimum Wage Rate goes up to $18.36 per hour (with Health Benefits), and $24.48 per hour (without Health Benefits).
