Mandatory Overtime in Minnesota Employees in Minnesota have the authority to set work schedules for their employees and can determine the hours an employee works. There are no restrictions that specify how much notice must be provided to the employee or the maximum number of hours that can be worked in a single shift.

All overtime is voluntary and may only be worked by agreement between employer and employee. Maximum permissible overtime is 3 hours on anyone day or 10 hours in any 1 week.

What is the working week? Under Australian laws, employees work up to 38 hours in a week, or 7.6 hours (7 hours, 36 minutes) each day.

There are no limits on the overtime hours the employer can schedule. Employees who refuse to work the scheduled hours may be terminated. Advance notice by an employer of the change in hours is not required.

California has regulations for OT over 8 hours in a day, and then additional for the 7th consecutive day. ( ). You only have 6 work days shown, so the 7th day doesn't come into play. You have to also apply the Federal OT rules for 40 hours in a week.
