The Equal Pay Act (EPA) protects individuals of all sexes. Men and women who perform the same kind of work in the workplace must be paid the same compensation under the federal Equal Pay Act.The Equal Pay Act requires that men and women in the same workplace be given equal pay for equal work. The act requires an employer to announce to all employees employment advancement opportunities and job openings and the pay range for the openings. All employees in FLSA non-exempt positions must complete a Collin College Time Sheet daily and record all hours worked on each day. Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, C.R.S. § 8-5-101, et seq. Under the Equal Pay Act, women and men have the right to receive equal pay if they perform equal work in the same workplace. (c) Men are protected under the Act equally with women. The Equal Pay Act requires that men and women be given equal pay for equal work in the same establishment. Job titles alone don't determine if employees are similarly employed.
