The Arizona Long Term Care System covers a comprehensive array of supportive services for individuals who are aged or disabled. This program pays for nursing home care and community-based alternatives that can help you remain in your own home or in a residential setting of your choice.

At age 65; or • At age 62 with 10 or more years of credited service; or • At any combination of years of credited service and age totaling 80 points. If you are at least 50 years of age and have five or more years of credited service, you are eligible for early retirement.
Aging in place services like meal delivery, transportation, and errand services can help seniors maintain their independence. But without some form of in-home assistance, these services may not be enough to keep elderly adults at home.
Your ASRS retirement benefit is calculated using your years of service and your average monthly salary, with a “graded multiplier” added that increases with your years of service. (You can read a more in-depth explanation of that formula here.)
