Currently the form cannot be filed electronically. The instructions for the Form 8822-B provide the following guidance. If you are an entity with an EIN and your responsible party has changed, use of this form is mandatory. Otherwise, use of this form is voluntary.

Transfer Tax is due on all conveyances with consideration greater than $500.00. The amount of tax is computed at $2.00 per $500.00, or any fraction thereof. (Example: $750.00; Consideration = $4.00 tax.) Mansion Tax is due on all residential conveyances where the consideration is $1,000,000.00 or greater.

Generally, you must file Form 56 when you create (or terminate) a fiduciary relationship. File Form 56 with the Internal Revenue Service Center where the person for whom you are acting is required to file tax returns.

Form TP-584 must be filed for each conveyance of real property from a grantor/transferor to a grantee/transferee.
