Beginning the first day of instruction, if you no longer plan to attend UCR, you must formally withdraw. See the Withdraw section for more details. To cancel your enrollment, please complete the Enrollment Cancellation Form .
If you enroll in a course and decide you no longer want it, you must go to R'Web and drop it by the published deadline as listed at Dates & Deadlines. It is your responsibility to monitor your enrollment closely, which includes dropping any unwanted classes/sections prior to the published drop deadlines.
A cancellation occurs when a student disenrolls all course sections for a term prior to classes beginning. To drop is to disenroll from one or more courses while remaining enrolled in at least one course. To withdraw is to disenroll from all course sections on or after the first day of instruction.
Steps Check your school's deadline for withdrawal. Withdraw online through your student account. Contact the registrar's office to withdraw. Fill out your student information. Return the form.
If you must withdraw, you should always withdraw officially by going to your advisor or dropping the class on your student account.
