Open the calendar event in Outlook. Make the necessary changes to your meeting. Instead of sending the update to all attendees, select either "Save" or "Save and Close" depending on your version of Outlook.
Save meeting changes but don't send updates with Save feature Double click to open the meeting, and make any changes as you need. Click the Save button and the Close button successively on the Quick Access Toolbar. See screenshot: Note: This method works well when you change the meeting note only.
To add someone to an Outlook meeting without notifying everyone, add the new attendee's email and choose the option to 'Send updates only to added or deleted attendees'.
To update an Outlook invite without sending an update, make necessary changes and simply save the event without choosing 'Send Update'. This will only update your calendar and not the invitees'. Use this method for minor changes that do not affect attendees.
In the “Send Update to Attendees” dialog box, choose “Send updates only to added or deleted attendees” and click “OK.”
In the "Response Options" section, uncheck the "Request Responses" box. In the "Meeting Options" section, select "None" from the "Response Options" drop-down menu. Add the meeting details such as the subject, location, and start/end time. Click on the "Send" button to send the meeting request.
During a meeting in your meeting controls. To ask someone who was invited to join the meeting, hover over their name and select Request to join. To add someone who wasn't previously invited, type their name or phone number in the Invite someone or dial a number field.
Setting meeting join options using the Microsoft Teams admin center Expand Meetings > Conference Bridges. At the top of the Conference Bridges page, select Bridge Settings. In the Bridge settings pane, enable or disable Meeting entry and exit notifications.
