Your transfer to Suffolk begins by applying online. After your college transcript(s) arrive, your transfer credits will be evaluated for applicable credits toward your program. An email will notify you when the courses are transferred into your student account.

Applications will be considered on a space-available basis. The priority financial aid deadlines for transfer students are June 1 (fall entry) or December 1 (spring entry).

Transfer acceptance rates for top schools are often half the freshman acceptance rate. That said, many public universities have higher transfer rates because they take lots of CC students from their state! Some schools even have guaranteed acceptance for CC students with a certain GPA.

The Binding Early Decision Program deadline is December 1. We begin accepting applications in September. Decisions are released on a rolling basis beginning in late November. After the priority deadline, we continue to accept applications until July 1 and review applications in the order they are received.
