Males will wear a civilian-style collared shirt or business attire and females will wear a conservative blouse or business attire. No tank-tops or t-shirts are permitted. Children may wear attire without a collar. Attire white in color is not permitted due to the white background.
In general, Travis Public Affairs schedules base tours twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Please contact the Public Affairs office for specific dates. Priority scheduling will be given to ROTC and Junior ROTC students and other groups serving high-school-age and college-age students.

Current styles and fashions which are conservative are authorized. Tank-top shirts, cut-off shorts, and shower sandals are not acceptable within the confines of a military installation.
On , the U.S. Air Force announced that all personnel will transition to the Army Combat Uniform in Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP), which the Air Force refers to by the latter term. All personnel were allowed to wear OCPs beginning on 1 October 2018, and the wear out date for the ABU was 1 April 2021.
