We offer a payments solution for just about any business.
A PayPal Business account has all the options as a Personal account, but also offers more features for small to medium-sized business owners. For example, PayPal Business accounts allow you to send and receive PayPal invoices, plus set up subscription services.
Technically, you are able to use your PayPal business account to make the same payments as a personal account. However, PayPal's policy, and/or local business registrations in your region, may restrict the type of payments you make. There are no costs to set up a PayPal business account and no monthly fees.
If you want to upgrade your personal account to a business account: Go to Settings. In the Account Options section, click Upgrade to a Business Account.
If you are selling a small number of services or goods, a PayPal Personal account will still work. This makes them ideal for artists or freelancers. Keep in mind that the types of payments accepted are limited when compared to the PayPal Business account vs. Personal.
Assuming your business is setup, registered, etc., then go with a Business Account. The advantage is that Business Accounts allow you to display your Business Name or Business Logo Graphic on the PayPal Checkout Screens. Business Accounts also have a feature called Multi-User Access.
Access Your Account Settings You'll be redirected to the PayPal dashboard. From here, you'll need to navigate to the “Settings” button. Once you've clicked this, you should be able to find an option entitled “Upgrade to a business account”, which you should select.
