You are not required to surrender your license plates to the Utah DMV.
In Utah, you keep the plates; do not let new owner drive off with plates on the car.
If you do need to cancel your registration for any reason, please follow these simple instructions. Send an email cancellation request to subscribe@utah. Be sure to include your account number(s) in the email. If you want it cancelled in the future, provide an effective date.

Right of Rescission Some contracts allow you to opt out without any consequences if you do it within three days of signing. In Utah, for instance, you can rescind a contract for the sale of more than in goods you purchased somewhere other than in the seller's place of business.
