Dear Sir/Madam, I'm writing to let you know I want to end my contract with BT for the following products: TV Broadband Phone package (my landline number is …………………………………) Sorry for the bad news. But after a bit of thought I've decided to move on and get everything I need from another supplier.
If you recontract or upgrade either your phone landline service or your EE TV service (and you already have BT Broadband), then your broadband service will automatically recontract. This is so that you can enjoy these services for the full duration of the new contract without any problems or technical issues.
Your contract end date is listed under each product or service on your bill. Once your contract ends your service will continue, but you can cancel without paying any fees. Shows your usage – for example, calls you've made, data you've used, or films you've brought.

How much notice do you need? To stop your BT products (such as phone, broadband, TV, Calling Features), you'll need to give us a minimum 30 days' notice. If you want to stop the service before the 30-day period ends, you'll be charged for the remaining days.
All of our contracts vary in length. Most of our contracts are 24 months, but we do have some that are 18. Our BT Mobile contracts are mainly 12 months for SIM Only and 24 months for handset plans.
Contact the business and say you want to cancel the contract because you're still in the cooling-off period. You'll probably need to give them details such as your account reference number - check any documents or emails you have from the company.
To cancel your contract with BT, you can call them on 0800 783 1401.
