Setup Your Heat Press Settings Typically, you'll need to set the temperature between 350°F to 375°F, with medium to high pressure and a pressing time of about 15 to 30 seconds. These settings can vary depending on the fabric type and the specific transfer paper, so always double-check the instructions.

It is important to know that our heat press instructions recommend pressing at 325 degrees for 7 seconds. This is a guideline and a starting point.

Reversing the image prior to printing When using light transfer paper you must reverse the image and print it in mirror mode. The image is placed face down on the garment and when the transfer process is complete, it will appear the right way round.

Place iron on top of the image and apply firm pressure between 30-45 seconds and then move iron to areas that you have not pressed and hold for 30-35 seconds on each area. Once all areas have been pressed, move iron quickly over the whole design for about 10 seconds. Remove iron, cotton and wax paper to reveal design.
