WITHDRAWAL FROM THE UNIVERSITY Students who do not expect to continue at Stockton should immediately complete a formal statement of withdrawal through the Office of the Registrar. This will become a part of the student's official record and will serve to establish the circumstances of the withdrawal.

If you must withdraw, you should always withdraw officially by going to your advisor or dropping the class on your student account. You should not withdraw from a class by not going to the class anymore.
If withdrawal is the best or only option, the advisor will email the student the withdrawal form. Instructions for completing and submitting the form are included in the form. If you do not know who your academic advisor is, call (646) 664-8514. E-permit students will need to also inform their home campuses.
Proposed Form of Order - A proposed order is a form that the judge can use to either grant or deny the relief sought in the motion. Every motion must be accompanied by a proposed form of order. Return date - The return date is the date on which the court will consider the motion.

Call the admissions office as soon as you know you don't want to attend the college. Tell them if you want to withdraw or defer your admission. Then, explain why you've changed your mind. Finally, thank the admission staff for their time and help.

It is preferable to withdraw by meeting with an advisor. It's important to make sure that your official withdrawal was processed. If you can't meet with an advisor, you can usually also officially withdraw from classes using your online student account. You never want to just stop attending classes.
