Description

In equity sharing both parties benefit from the relationship. Equity sharing, also known as housing equity partnership (HEP), gives a person the opportunity to purchase a home even if he cannot afford a mortgage on the whole of the current value. Often the remaining share is held by the house builder, property owner or a housing association. Both parties receive tax benefits. Another advantage is the return on investment for the investor, while for the occupier a home becomes readily available even when funds are insufficient.

Bernd Schmid, contributing crypto analyst at The Motley Fool, more or less agrees. “It's not too late to start investing in crypto,” he said, “as long as you have a long-term perspective. Crypto adoption is today where internet adoption was in the late 1990s and early 2000s.”

To be clear, don't expect Bitcoin's historical returns to be replicated in the future. However, there's reason to believe that there's still plenty of upside potential for long-term holders. My No. 1 reason to remain invested in Bitcoin is its attractiveness as a store of value.

MicroStrategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) and KULR Technology (NYSEMKT: KULR) both recently generated a lot of buzz with their big investments in Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC). Microstrategy, which started buying Bitcoin in 2020, had accumulated 279,420 Bitcoins as of Nov. 10.

The value of MicroStrategy has surged since it decided to become the world's first 'bitcoin treasury company' in 2020.
