FAQ

If you're looking for a high-octane thriller with fresh thrills, you might be left wanting. But if you appreciate strong performances and a touch of social awareness amidst the action, ``The Contract'' might be worth your time.

The only thing this movie has going for it is the scenery, and even that wasn't authentic, having been filmed in Bulgaria, not Washington State.

Carden gets the upper hand on Davis, killing him with his own sniper rifle. However, the battle forces Carden to miss his own window of opportunity to assassinate Hammond Sr. Carden relents in giving Keene a set of keys to a hotel room where Carden locked up Chris, letting father and son reunite while he disappears.

Frank Carden (Morgan Freeman), one of the world's greatest assassins, is handed a lucrative contract to a highly secretive billionaire. But in a twist of fate, Carden is involved in a car accident during the job, and when his gun is found after he is admitted to a hospital, federal marshals arrest him. Meanwhile, ex-cop Ray Keene (John Cusack) is hiking with his son, Chris (Jamie Anderson), when Carden's cohorts try to spring him from custody, and soon the pair is caught in the crossfire. The Contract / Film synopsis

In April of 2022, Morgan Freeman was in Lafayette shooting the movie “57 Seconds.” With the movie having a limited release on Friday, here are a few of the many well known films had scenes shot, or even the entire production taking place right in our backyard.

Production. The Contract was developed by Scanner Rhodes Productions and Robert Fucilla Company initially under the working title Squat. In post production, the film's title changed to The Contract. The entire film was shot in London, England late 2014 - early 2015.

The contract is an entertaining film. While not the best film in any way, it is still worth seeing. This is not an in depth thriller, or a work for the ages. But it is a fun way to spend your time. I love John Cusack movies. And I love Morgan Freeman's acting roles as well.

The Contractor was shot in Romania, Germany, and the United States.

The film was shot almost exclusively in Bulgaria and the DSK Bank central headquarters served as one of the main sets. The scenes on the large rock were filmed at the Zlatnite Mostove on the Vitosha Mountain by Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria.
