A 30-day statutory time limit for taking a civil appeal runs from the date of service of the judgment or order sought to be appealed from, with written notice of its entry (see CPLR 5513a).
Warning, Major Probation, and Removal from the Major Students will receive a warning when their overall GPA is above 2.0, but fail to achieve a semester GPA of 2.0; or when they fail to make satisfactory progress towards degree completion.
Students wishing to declare or change a major can submit a request in the University's student information system. The request will then go to the University Registrar's Office for approval.

All candidates for degrees from Suffolk County Community College must meet the following general requirements. They must: Attain a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.0. Attain a grade point average of not less than 2.0 in their major field of study.
Suffolk County Community College does not offer pass/fail grades as part of the grading system. The FN grade is given at the discretion of faculty and indicates a failing grade due to lack of attendance. The FN is equivalent to an F in grade point average computations.
