CDCR has ended their contract for email and video service with JPAY as of July 1, 2022. GTL is the NEW vendor. YOU MUST SET UP A GTL ACCOUNT, AND ADD ALL OF THE PEOPLE YOU WISH TO BE IN TOUCH WITH TO YOUR GTL “CONTACTS” LIST to continue to make telephone, and video calls, and email messages.
Inmates are not permitted to receive phone calls. If an inmate needs to be contacted in the event of an emergency, please contact The Clark County Detention Center: (702) 671-3900. The Clark County Detention Center is equipped with TTY machines to accommodate hearing impairment.
Phone calls always need to be made from the incarcerated individual to you. Even if you have the phone number of the facility where they are located, you will not be able to call and talk to them. However, they will be able to call you.
To find out if someone is incarcerated simply go online. Look in the county jail or city lockup under the person's last name. If they are under state supervision then that is the Department of Corrections. Anyone can also call in for the information since all incarcerated are public knowledge.
You can search for offenders currently serving in Georgia Department of Corrections facilities across the state using an online database. Adult offenders can be searched by name, ID or case number, age, and other identifying information. For offenders in county jail, visit the county's website.
