If you exceed 10 absences OR 10 sign-outs OR 10 tardies to school ANY YEAR (9-12), you will NOT be eligible for SENIOR PRIVILEGE OR A SENIOR PARKING DECAL when you reach senior year! To clarify the 10-10-10 policy, you will NOT be eligible for Senior Privilege or Senior Parking if you EXCEED 10 in any category.

STUDENTS ELIGIBLE FOR PUBLIC-SUPPORTED EDUCATION IN THE BROWARD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM SHALL NOT BE SUSPENDED OR EXPELLED FROM SCHOOL FOR DISCIPLINARY REASONS FOR ANY PERIOD UNLESS SUCH STUDENT IS PROVIDED AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A STUDENT CONFERENCE/HEARING PURSUANT TO RULES OF THE SCHOOL BOARD.
Attendance Information Regular attendance is a key factor in a child's academic success. Regular attendance is when a student attends more than 95% of the academic school year; this may include up to 8 absences in a 180-day school year.
