The California bar limits complaints for events that occurred within the last five years. The statute of limitations for legal malpractices is one year, generally from the time representation ends.
You can file a complaint against an attorney with the California Bar Association. Here is the link: for the court date in December, and asking for a new attorney, you are able to do that.
The Office of the Property Appraiser reviews all ownership changes, properly recorded in the Clerk of Courts Recorder's Office. The ownership transfer is typically processed between 4 and 8 weeks, but may take up to 12 weeks.
Applicants who are already licensed to practice law in another state or jurisdiction must register as an attorney applicant, complete a positive moral character determination and pass the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination as well as the California Bar Examination.
We will not record an uncertified copy of any document, with or without changes. If you need to record a document which has changes from the original, please provide either a new document or make the modification to the original document.
