University of the Cumberlands is a private institution that was founded in 1888. It has a total undergraduate enrollment of 6,103 (fall 2023), its setting is rural, and the campus size is 166 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar.
Graduate students can request CPT in their first semester of enrollment, it is an integral part of the student's graduate studies. There is no limit to the number of months a student utilizes part-time CPT.

Day 1 CPT Course Structure Each semester comprises three courses. A mandatory three-day in-person class is held each semester, typically from Friday to Sunday. Non-attendance can jeopardize a student's F1 status. The University doesn't mandate an on-campus workplace, allowing students to pursue CPT anywhere.
You must be full-time (12 credit hours for undergraduate students/7 credit hours for graduate students) each semester.
Presidential Award Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher and between a 27-29 composite on the ACT or 1280-1380 on the SAT critical reading and mathematics combined score. Presidential Award recipients may be eligible for a scholarship up to $16,000.
