To be eligible for Option 6 certification, candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. The degree does not need to be in education; any bachelor's degree and content area will work, as long as the degree was earned from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
Graduate students can request CPT in their first semester of enrollment, it is an integral part of the student's graduate studies. There is no limit to the number of months a student utilizes part-time CPT.

University of the Cumberlands has an acceptance rate of 71%. Half the applicants admitted to University of the Cumberlands who submitted test scores have an ACT score between 16 and 23. However, one quarter of admitted applicants achieved scores above these ranges and one quarter scored below these ranges.
Full-Time Enrollment/Part-Time Enrollment - A full-time student is enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in a semester (full-time status for a summer term is 12 credit hours).
A college student is considered to be enrolled on a full-time basis for student financial aid purposes if they are enrolled for at least 12 credit hours per semester.
