The Minnesota State Fair's security program includes walk-through metal detectors at all entry gates. Bags, purses, coolers and packages will be subject to search at each of the State Fair's entrances. View our prohibited items on our Allowed & Prohibited Items FAQ page.
A small purse or bag under 12''x6''x12'' is permitted - but we encourage you to bring as little as possible. We prefer you leave your bag at home, but if you must bring your bag, it will be searched.
Backpacks and large bags (over 14” x 15”), are prohibited from entering the theatre. Small purses and bags that can fit in the limited space under the seat or comfortably in someone's lap are fine. All bags will be searched. Please review our list of prohibited items.
Season Packages PERFORMANCE LOCATIONS: All performances will take place at the Orpheum Theatre.
Dress Code All guests must wear tops, bottoms, and shoes. Clothing MUST cover breasts, genitals, and buttocks.
Guests will not interfere with the event or performers in any way. Guests will not smoke anywhere inside the Theatre at any time. Guests will wear a shirt, shoes and lower garments at all times.
