(a)Amendments. A party may amend his pleading as a matter of course and without leave of court at any time before the entry of a pretrial order. Thereafter the party may amend his pleading only by leave of court or by written consent of the adverse party. Leave shall be freely given when justice so requires.

In all other instances, all motions to set aside judgments shall be brought within three years from entry of the judgment complained of.
Made a mistake on your Georgia tax return? You can amend it using Form 500X, available for both the current and previous tax years. Simply complete and sign the form, but be aware that you cannot submit it electronically on eFile (unlike the federal Form 1040X).
