Evidence of financial ability includes but is not limited to: Family bank statements. Documentation from a sponsor. Financial aid letters. Scholarship letters. Letter from an employer showing annual salary.
If you are being sponsored by a parent and/or relative, their information along with their relationship to you must be provided on the Affidavit of Support form.
The petitioner/financial sponsor must complete and sign the appropriate Affidavit of Support form. Incomplete forms, including those missing pages, will not be accepted. The completed forms and supporting documents must be submitted in CEAC to NVC with the visa applicant's civil documents.
The following self-petitioning immigrants are exempt from the Form I-864 requirement: A noncitizen who has an approved Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant (Form I-360) as a self-petitioning widow or widower; A noncitizen who has an approved Form I-360 as a battered spouse or child; and.
