La tutela es aquella institucion supletoria de amparo que, junto a la curatela y al consejo de familia, tiene como finalidad suplir o completar a la patria potestad.

Una tutela termina cuando ocurre 1 de las siguientes cosas: El menor cumple 18 anos de edad; El menor es adoptado, se casa, se enlista en las Fuerzas Armadas o es declarado adulto (emancipado) por orden de la corte; El menor fallece antes de cumplir 18 anos de edad; o.

La tutela se extingue: a) Por la muerte del pupilo o porque desaparezca la incapacidad. b) Cuando el incapacitado sujeto a la tutela entre a la patria potestad por reconocimiento o adopcion.

Requisitos para ser tutor legal El tutor debe ser un adulto.El solicitante no debe tener antecedentes penales de ningun tipo. El solicitante debe tener buena salud fisica y mental, asi como el tiempo necesario para cuidar al nino.

Mientras que el tutor es el profesor que orienta, asesora y acompana al alumno durante su estancia en la universidad, desde la perspectiva de guiarlo hacia su formacion integral, estimulando en el la capacidad de hacerse responsable de su propio aprendizaje y de su formacion (ANUIES, 2001).

Una tutela de adultos es un caso legal en el que un juez nombra a una persona u organizacion responsable (llamado tutor) para que cuide a otro adulto (llamado pupilo) que no se puede cuidar a si mismo o manejar sus propias finanzas.
