Return Policy. PW has a commitment to all its animals: to care for them for the lifetime of each animal. The Adopter agrees that if he or she is unwilling or unable to care for the pet for its entire lifetime, he or she will contact PW and return the pet to a location specified by PW.

Once a shelter gains title to the animal, it can do with the animal as it sees fit, and its decision will be upheld by courts as long as the shelter complied with state law.
