All applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of at least 2.5. Do I have to be a full-time student? Most of our scholarships require students to carry a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.
Changes of address affecting residency classification should be reported promptly to the Admissions Office, along with documentation of current address. Name and CollegeWide ID number (CWID) changes require photocopies of the student's Social Security card or Texas Driver's License.
To request a change in your degree program and/or have transcripts evaluated, login to CougarWeb. Under Student Quick Links, select "Request Change of Major." Candidates for an Associate degree or Certificate should submit a petition for graduation by the deadline established for that semester.
Transferring Collin College Credits to an Out-of-State College or University The student will need to contact the out-of-state college or university for approval. The out-of-state college or university may require a course description from the catalog year the student took the course in order to make their decision.
Login to your CougarWeb account. Go to the "Student Quicklinks" menu for Spring/Summer. Click on the "View My Transcripts" link. Select "Undergraduate Credit" in the dropdown menu for Transcript Type (unless looking at Continuing Education transcript)
If you have taken any college classes, you will need to complete an admission application. (Returning Collin College students who have been out more than a year need to reapply, including dual credit students.)
Students intending to use third party funding should present the signed authorization and release form and email it to cashier@collin or present it at any cashier office location.
