The most common cause of this problem is an old zip code assigned to the card itself. Even though you have updated your address with the bank, they may not sync your new address to the credit/debit card. Try the old/outdated postal code(s) on the payment, and it will likely go through.

Ensure that there are no missing characters or misspellings in the name and address you entered and that the card number you entered is correct. Double-check the zip code and ensure it matches the one it has on file. Please contact your bank to check what the card-issuing bank has on file if necessary.

Payee Address ? this is the address where you send your payment. ZIP code ? in some cases, we do not ask for the entire address of your payee, but just for the payee's ZIP code. When prompted to enter a ZIP code, enter the payee's ZIP code where you send your payments.

A credit card ZIP code is the 5-digit zip code from your U.S. billing address. When you make a purchase, the ZIP code you enter must match the ZIP code associated with your official cardholder address.

If you do not know your zip code you can find it in the following ways. You can check your most recent credit card bill as it will have your address on it which contains your zip code. Go to USPS.com and click on ?Find a Zip Code.? Look up your account information on the credit card company's website.

If you log in to your account at and look at the bottom of your bill PDF file, you'll find your local/regional address for sending the payment. Choose Account->Bill Overview->View bill PDF.
