Separate Header Invoice For Free

No matter whether you are billing a single reference document (for example, one outbound delivery) or several reference documents (for example, five outbound deliveries), if certain fields on header or item level of these reference documents are not identical, a billing document split occurs.

To see this, go to transaction VF03, or Fiori app ?Display Billing Documents?. In this screen, add the number of the first billing document and then, before pressing enter, from the GUI menu, select ?Environment>Split Analysis? as below. From Fiori, the same menu path can be seen by first selecting ?More?.

Include company and customer information. Add a unique invoice number, an issue date, and a due date. Write each line item with a description of services. Add up line items for total money owed.

You can also cancel individual items. In the Change Billing Documents app, choose Menu Edit Cancel Item to do so. This function is not possible for: Rebate agreements.

The two most common ways to do this are: Just create a new invoice for the amount you want the customer to day. Then when you are finished the job, create another new invoice for the remaining amount. The invoices won't be linked, except through the Contact Name.

Start the invoice with a professional header that includes the business name, business logo (if any), address, and contact information. After this, add the client's business name, the name of the contact person, and their precise contact information.

Invoice headers might include: Invoice number and date. Customer's name and address. Remit-to information, such as the name and address of the company to which payment should be sent.

To facilitate this copying of specific item-level custom fields and the resulting split, you must enable the corresponding extensibility business scenario (for example, Sales Document to Billing Document from Item to Header Level) in the Custom Fields app.
